This is the most efficient way to know what your users really want. Observing natural behavior is a much more accurate indicator of user needs than talking to users and trying to figure out the needs from interviews.<\/p>\n<p class=\"pageWrap pageWrap--s marginBottom-m paddingBottom-s c-slate lineHeight-l fontSize-l fontWeight-3 breakPointM-fontSize-xl breakPointM-lineHeight-xl\"><span class=\"long-quote\">\"Letting user behavior dictate the UX of your product is the essence of user-centered design. All too often designers know nothing. We have much to learn.\"<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"pageWrap pageWrap--s marginBottom-m paddingBottom-s c-slate lineHeight-l fontSize-l fontWeight-3 breakPointM-fontSize-xl breakPointM-lineHeight-xl\">Instead, <strong class=\"c-slate lineHeight-l fontSize-l fontWeight-5 breakPointM-fontSize-xl breakPointM-lineHeight-xl\">become the designer who understands the people\u2019s needs<\/strong>. Using the power of desire lines is a good way to get started.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"pageWrap pageWrap--s marginTop-xl marginBottom-l c-black lineHeight-xl fontSize-xl fontWeight-5 breakPointM-lineHeight-xxl breakPointM-fontSize-xxl\" style=\"margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\">How to use desire lines in your digital\u00a0design<\/h2>\n<p class=\"pageWrap pageWrap--s marginBottom-m paddingBottom-s c-slate lineHeight-l fontSize-l fontWeight-3 breakPointM-fontSize-xl breakPointM-lineHeight-xl\">In a sense observing desire lines in the real physical world is easier than the digital one. You need to wait patiently for people to use things and then analyse the collected \u201cdata\u201d. Unfortunately, this approach is more expensive and slow than the digital one.<\/p>\n<p class=\"pageWrap pageWrap--s marginBottom-m paddingBottom-s c-slate lineHeight-l fontSize-l fontWeight-3 breakPointM-fontSize-xl breakPointM-lineHeight-xl\">Using desire lines in your digital product design is much faster and can be cheaper. Find out what users are doing when they interact with your product.<\/p>\n<p class=\"pageWrap pageWrap--s marginBottom-m paddingBottom-s c-slate lineHeight-l fontSize-l fontWeight-3 breakPointM-fontSize-xl breakPointM-lineHeight-xl\">Further, understand WHY they do it.
